Between 24.10.2022 - 28.10.2022 a group of 11 students from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza National College in Alexandria, Romania, accompanied by two teachers, visited High School 24, Athens, Greece, as part of the Erasmus + learning program for activities group, The purpose of the mobility was for the students to participate in activities and projects together with their colleagues from Athens, Greece on environmental issues, interculturality and to share knowledge, interests and common values. Also, one of the objectives was the acquisition/improvement of foreign language learning skills, digital skills. The mobility participants are high school students between the ages of 15 and 16 with B1 level in English. On the first day, they were warmly received by the director of the host school and the host students who gave them a tour of the main school building. For the first activity, students participated in an English lesson introducing Greek culture. They worked in mixed groups using different skills such as speaking, reading, listening.

The second activity consisted of watching some films - in class - that addressed contemporary issues such as human rights, followed by discussions and exchanges of ideas. The working day ended with a welcome lunch where different traditional dishes made by the Greek students and their families were served.  The second activity day - outdoor activity: Greek history and archeology workshop - experiential learning: teaching history through monuments, statues and objects. Accompanied by the group of Greek students and their teachers, the group from Romania visited the Acropolis. During the visit, the Greek English teacher presented a variety of information about the great archaeological site. The Acropolis is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical importance, the most famous being the Parthenon. The students were also explained the meaning of the word acropolis - it comes from the Greek words akron, which means the highest point, extremity, and polis, which means city. As a feedback activity, students were given a quiz to check the information they learned. The next day was dedicated to sports and the environment - a combination of indoor and outdoor activities.  The purpose of the activity was: enriching knowledge about health and sports, making connections between health and sports, raising awareness of the benefits of sports activities on health

-improving digital skills/skills by making a video with snapshots/photos of the day's activities. Attiko Alsos was hiked on foot - a suburban forest, green space and recreation area with significant ecological value for the Attica Basin. In the park, the students practiced different sports, such as football, volleyball and basketball. In the second part of the day, at school, the students participated in a presentation given by doctor Ilias Mariolis on the topic of "Health and sport", followed by a debate, in which everyone could freely express their opinion. On the fourth day of activity, being the National Day of Greece, the students participated in a national event - the Celebration of the National Liberation Day of Greece. The day was dedicated to art: national songs were sung, patriotic role plays were performed and patriotic poems were recited.  Last day of activity - Outdoor activity - the city of Nafplio was visited with the following cultural objectives - the Corinth Canal, the Temple of Apollo, the Palamidi Castle, the Port of Nafplio. The students had the task for this day to make a video or a poster.
